The studio
About LunaClara Design
The studio is named after my two daughters. It’s a real-person business for real-person clients.
I’m May, a Surrey-based designer who started in graphic and web design back in 2005, took a detour through teaching, learning support, and community work while raising two daughters, and has come back to exactly where I started, just with considerably more life experience and a lot more tools. If you’ve ever tried putting together a primary school classroom display, you’ll know exactly what I mean.
I work with small businesses and sole traders across Surrey and the UK who deserve better than a template. I design and build websites, create brands, and handle digital marketing. I work in the Adobe suite, Figma, Procreate, and Canva, I’m comfortable across pretty much every major website builder going, and I write custom code when the job calls for it. I also use AI thoughtfully as part of the process. But my favourite tool has always been my creativity.
